Millis Development was proud to exhibit and sponsor the 2025 Texas ASLA Annual Conference, held April 23–25 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. As a general contractor focused on landscape architecture-led community projects, we were thrilled to take part in this year’s event centered around the theme:
“Mosaic: Many Pieces, One Landscape.”

Supporting the Pieces That Shape Communities

At Booth 525, our team connected with designers, planners, and public leaders who share our belief that outdoor public spaces are essential to community health and identity. Our work centers on projects where landscape architecture sets the tone and purpose—and where every detail, material, and connection contributes to a larger vision.

We specialize in building:

Public parks and greenways

Inclusive playgrounds and learning landscapes

Recreation centers and sports facilities

Community plazas, civic spaces, and trail systems

As a contractor, we bring the technical expertise and site knowledge to turn layered, multidimensional designs into real places where people gather, move, and thrive.

Honoring the Theme: Mosaic

The 2025 conference theme—”Mosaic: Many Pieces, One Landscape”—beautifully captured the spirit of collaboration and diversity that underpins the landscape architecture profession. At Millis, we see ourselves as part of that mosaic—working alongside design teams to complete the picture with thoughtful, durable construction.

Whether it’s a small neighborhood play space or a regional trail network, we know that our work fits into a bigger whole. That’s why we prioritize:

Respecting design intent

Maintaining community focus

Delivering with integrity and precision

Thank You, ASLA Texas
